Our Used Car Twitter Tool Was Suppose To Be A Demo But The Public Are Using It

A few months back when we launched our Car Dealer Twitter tool that was suppose to be a demonstration, but somehow the public found it and they are utilizing it.
Currently we have about 200 people watching the inventory roll in, and an average of 10 people click each vehicle tweet. I’m sure everyone has been to a used car dealer. Have you ever wondered how long some of those cars and trucks have been sitting there? I worked for a dealer here in Central Florida and some of their used cars and trucks were there for over a year. They call it lot rot.
Knowing that the average person spends at least 30 days looking for a used car, the whole Twitter tool makes more sense. The smart shoppers look around on the internet, and most will have the type of used car or truck they want narrowed down. Now these consumers are following our main Florida twitter account, because they know every time a new vehicle is added to our website they will get a tweet, with a direct link to the vehicle.
If you’re still not using Twitter check out the widget on this page (it’s on the right). Those are the latest vehicles that became available in Central Florida, from participating car dealers in Orlando, Tampa Bay, Brandon & Lakeland Florida.
I am writing this article on a Saturday morning. I just captured this screen shot showing that a used truck tweet was sent out about an hour ago and 11 people already clicked it.
